Bruce Boland is a family man, business owner and also one of to-days most exciting professional top drag racers on The US National Pro and Canadian circuit, coast to coast.

 

Mr. Boland at the age of 47 has a cavernous, irreplaceable wealth, knowledge, maturity along with plenty of professional experience running several current successful businesses as well as being the proud owner and driver of the professional drag racing team, B&B Racing.

 

Over the span of 28 years in the US and Canadian racing industry, Boland has raced many different cars, competing and climbing divisions for his own team, as well as being a professional hired gun to drive cars for other team owners to guarantee sponsors maximum returns on their financial commitment and investment, marketing dollars spent, achieving sponsor’s goals, while minimizing the possible risks found within the racing industry.

 

Mr. Boland has been racing since 1974.

 

In 1985 Bruce took a short break from racing to start a family and to open his own successful business, B&B automotive, Stoney Creek Ontario, Canada.

 

In 1990 Boland re-entered the racing industry locally allowing himself to follow his childhood dreams and remain closely dedicated to his supportive loving family, friends and growing business.

 

In 1995 Bruce purchased a 1991 Corvette and built his first Supercharger engine. He started competing at local Pro Mod events.

 

                          

 

In 1997 B&B Racing purchased a Chevy Lumina with an updated chassis. In May, 1997 the team attended their first Super Chevy Show event in Martin Michigan where the team qualified ending with the Halloween Classic in October at Norwalk Ohio. The Team went on to win the event establishing B&B Racing as the first Canadian to win in the history of the track.

 

                             

 

 In 1998 B&B built a brand new 63'Vette, upping his personal ante, proving to on lookers and skeptics that he could still compete competitively in the IHR TOP SPORTSMAN with out financial title or affiliate sponsorship.  Boland raced the 63'Vette for 2 more seasons and also continued his involvement, support and appreciation for racing at home in Canada where he cut his teeth in the sport and to also not let down his growing, loyal fan base or  highly valued and appreciated support from the Team's contingency sponsors.

 

                                   

 

                                   

 

 Through years of focused and endless commitment to detail, consistency and professional perfection, these consistent accomplishments have afforded Mr. Boland the well deserved respect within the professional racing industry, at a level for which very few drivers and team owner’s posses.

 

The team was personally selected in 2001 out of thousands of US and Canadian teams, an honored spot on The USA Super Chevy Show Tour. The teams personally selected for this tour are at the top of there racing game in the shows featured attraction, The Nitro Coupes. This division is becoming the fastest growing race fan favorite in motor sports.

 

At this point Boland felt he need a car that would handle more speed and horsepower, thus purchasing the stunning black, 33' Willy’s Coupe. The first race attended with this new car, the team won at Lancaster N.Y. Later that season Boland won the inaugural IHRA National TOP SPORTSMAN QUICK 8 event at Grand Bend, Ontario.

 

 The team was invited and competed at 10 of the 21 US Super Chevy Show events and placed an incredible 5th for the season

 

                        

 

The commitment for the full 2002  racing season has seen the team compete at all 21 Super Chevy Shows coast to coast The team has for the 2002 season saw Bruce Boland finish 3rd
